Hosted by Mangrove Action Project, the annual Mangrove Photography Awards catalyzes conservation and restoration efforts for one of the world’s most vital ecosystems – and most threatened. Drawing on the power of storytelling, our mission is to bring the beauty and plight of mangroves and coastal communities to life.

This is our 10th anniversary year of the Mangrove Photography Awards. What started as a hobby has expanded to receive thousands of submissions from over 80 countries. The awards are officially endorsed by the UN Decade of Ocean Science and Sustainable Development.
